Home Office- Where to Start

A strong percentage of the current American workforce is now working out of a home office space. Many people find the freedom and flexibility liberating and are actually much more productive than when going to a physical office. But, setting up a home office to be efficient and effective can be a daunting task.

Here are a few items to consider when planning yours:

*Evaluate your needs

*Evaluate your wants

*Prioritize what is necessary

*Audit how you work - do you need a door that closes, can you use an open space, what look will you find motivating and not distracting

*Find the space and claim it as yours

*Pick furniture that fits the requirements you have already defined

*Technology, ensure the space has connectivity required by your work

*Set up, beautify, and go!
